i must be in the christmas spirit, because this is what came out when i sat down to design a button. but it's cute and festive, so i'll keep it until christmas is over and then i'll make a new one.  who knows, there may be a complete blog/shop redesign coming after the new year anyway...  so for now, you can put this cute christmastime button on your sidebar  by copying the HTML in this little box under here [highlight, right click, "copy"] and then by following this nice little tutorial i made for you :)

[edited/enhanced & reposted, because i think it's really important & leslie's post reminded me of it] okay, so obviously it's fun to get comments on your blog posts... but even more fun than that is being able to reply directly back to the person who left the comment. with blogger, you can enable your email address on your profile so that when you comment on someone's blog, they can actually email you back a direct reply ! if you don't know how to enable your email, i'll show you how: first log in to blogger.com .  you'll see your "dashboard"  click on one of your photos either in the top right or top left: once you're at your profile, click on  "edit profile" then click on  "show my email address" that enables your email on comments so that the blog owner can reply to you :) it also puts this link on your profile [pictured below] it doesn't really "show" yo...

hi friends, who are coming over from the old space . please take a minute to update your reader, your bookmark, your favorites, or your memory (whatever you use to get yourself here to read this stuff). the new URL is: http://mommiediaries.blogspot.com it looks the same, don't worry. and all the old posts and comments are still here. sorry for confusing you. i hope you'll click "follow" over there on the right sidebar. even if you weren't officially "following" before, i hope you do now! somehow, having a few followers over there makes us bloggers feel like we should keep writing, because at least someone is reading, ya know? oh, and leaving comments provides the same sort of motivation for us, too. just sayin ;)

i went back to the normal "blogger" commenting system. i know. i just can't help myself. i think it's more convenient for you guys to comment really fast, rather than fill in all your info (but i appreciate all of you who continued to comment despite the time it took). PS i'm sort of, a little bit, debating whether to sign up for this ... blog sugar. it looks super awesome and it's only a few hours north, and really close to my brother. i could visit him on the way? what do you think? i know its totally crazy, but i feel like i would be trying to break into the popular girls' group. like i shouldn't really be there. i mean, no one invited me, so who do i think i am, just showing up? i don't usually put myself out there like that.  i know, i'm laying bear my insecurities for all of you to see. i should just register already, right? and get over myself?
